  • Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next. Delicious ambiguity. - Gilda Radner

I have enjoyed your blog posts for the past year and your original designs!! I was disappointed that I did not recieve a reply from Atieler yarns about my request for pattern #195...I have the specific yarn in my stash!! Overall, you blog is the best on Ravelry.

greetings! I am really loving your photo replay of 2011! I made my first sweater this year and am experimenting with lots of other things, but I'm chicken most of the time. But this might be the year. I've always wanted to open a shop in my little town on a little lake and this is my year of 50 and I'm feeling like I need to shake up life a little. I'd like any input from you and your friends/readers on what makes a good yarn shop. I'd like to start with a small yarn shop and a knitting/workroom combination. I dabble in quilting and knitting, and find a friend is a good thing to have to boost you along. I'd like to be that friend for whoever stops into my shop...but remember the chicken thing.
Soooo...
What do you look for?
What makes you come back??
What makes you never come back??
What are the must-haves??
What is the wonderful part of your favorite LYS??
oh, did I mention that my gift is cheerleading?? Yep, I'm an encourager...I LOVE to see you happily learn something and complete something and smile...
Thanks
