I was on the fence today about either the tomten jacket or Baby Surprise, and I picked Baby Surprise but it was a hard choice. It will be a real surprise because it's not really for a baby, I am going to re-engineer it for a smallish kid. But this is a kid who always surprises me, so it fits.

Yes, Jared's masterful turn at the Tomten jacket is truly inspiring, good for you for approaching it with such gusto!!

I totally forgot about restaurant week ... you had me clicking all over as well... Tomten is fab both ways (for big people and littles too)

I'm doing a Tomten for Biscuit for this fall in Cascade 220 leftovers and scraps, as I've already done four BSJ's...guess it's time! Gorgeous color choice.

stacey

what a cute jacket - the muted colors are so pretty - lots of options for trim color!

Nonnahs

Ooh! I can't wait to see this one progress! Jared's jacket is gorgeous, and I know yours will be, too!

Romi

I love the yarn you chose! And I agree; brooklyn tweed's blog is inspirational!

Erin

Your yarn is perfect for that jacket--so pretty. And I think brooklyntweed is fake. At least that makes me feel better about his skill and perfect project choices.

BK
