You hear the voices telling you not to go,
They made their choices and they'll never know,
What it means to steal, to cheat, to lie,
What it's like to live and die.
To Prove It All Night.

Your Monkey socks look fabulous! What colorway are you using?

Brenda

The socks are fantastic! In addition to knitting, I bead. Beads are a lot like buttons when it comes to shopping. I think it is very difficult to have too many buttons. After all, you could always change the buttons on your sweater with only a little work to give the sweater a new look (I can rationalize just about anything!). There is nothing to fear in button shopping.

Oh, your monkey socks are looking fantastic. They are pretty high on my must-knit list, and now looking at yours I keep thinking of that pile of STR sitting in my stash.

Don't fear the button shopping. Just do what I do and buy a bunch. Once I get home it doesn't seem so overwhelming to choose, and the leftovers will always be used on future projects. After all, most buttons don't cost much. . .

I have to try that pattern! It looks great in that colorway....pretty! It's nice to have a pattern you can't put down!

Nora

I love this pattern - you've inspired me to start mine. Thanks. x
